With that being said, I would like to ask you a very serious question if I may. If you could know the exact date and time you would die, would you want to know? Can you guess what the majority of people surveyed answered?

Over 97% of the people surveyed said they would prefer NOT to know the date and time they would die, however the unfortunate truth of the matter is that one day each and everyone one of us, including you, will surely die. Although no one can know for certain when their time will come, we do know for certain that it IS coming! (Statistics say that 10 out of 10 people die)

I would like to ask you another very serious question.......

If you were to die tonight...where would you spend your eternity?

HEAVEN OR HELL?

THINK ABOUT THIS QUESTION VERY CAREFULLY BECAUSE ETERNITY WILL LAST FOR A VERY LONG TIME

We'll come back to that question later, but first I want to tell you about a time when I went into a restaurant and happened to strike up a conversation about church with the cashier working the front counter. I proceeded to ask her the question from above: "If she were to die right now, where did she believe she would spend eternity?"

After pondering the question for a moment she finally looked at me and stated that she felt she would end up in heaven when she died. When I inquired why she felt she would go to heaven, she responded by telling me that she felt she would get into heaven because she considered herself to be a "good person".

I guess the real question to answer now is whether being a "good person" is all that is needed to be able to spend eternity in heaven?
