I am respectful of myself in my thoughts, words and action

How do you speak to yourself?  Are you kind and loving as you would be with a friend?  Or are you harsh and judgmental of yourself?  A lot of stress and depression for individuals can be attributed to the "self abuse" that we give to ourselves in our thoughts, words and actions.  Ask yourself - How do I want to feel in my life?  How do I want to act?  When you spend time in reflection on your thoughts, words and actions you may notice that you not very kind to yourself. 

Today's affirmation is designed to help you develop awareness of how you speak to yourself.  Start to notice times when you put yourself down or judge yourself harshly because you did not accomplish something perfectly.  Perfectionism is a tough standard to achieve. Listen to the recording, breathe deeply and be respectful of you in your thoughts, words and actions.
