Are you Parenting Teenagers in Washington County Iowa?

Join us in a special, FREE 3-part telephone seminar program specially designed for parents with teens that is being offered by the Washington Safe Coalition.

The program begins Thursday, April 24 at 8pm so you can conveniently call in from your home on our 800# line. The program will run on Thursday, April 24, Tuesday April 29 and Thursday May 1. Each telephone seminar will have a lecture portion from 8 - 9, and we'll take Q & A from 9 - 9:30pm. WE ARE RECORDING EACH SESSION SO YOU CAN LISTEN IN LATER IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT LIVE.

As your teenagers are enjoying the fun and exciting array of spring activities and celebrations, they may be tempted to experiment with risky behaviors. But because issues of teen substance use cannot be separated from fundamental family issues like communication, trust and teen development, our program will include a more comprehensive discussion of important topics like how to enhance communication with your teen, why teens act the way they do, and strategies for effective parenting.

Sue Blaney (national speaker, author of a nationally recognized podcasts and programs for parents of teens) will be running this series just for parents of teens in Washington County, Iowa.

Don't wait to sign up! There are comprehensive handouts to accompany each session, and it's easy to register online.
